The Democratic plantation is the expression of policies that are designed to promote poverty (such as single parent households being promoted through section 8, child support, tax breaks and other left-wing policies) in order to keep certain types of people (especially blacks) poor, uneducated and thus continue to vote for the Democrats. This is a real thing, quite explicitly in left-wing cities from the 1940s to 1970s, poor people in the “projects” would get additional benefits if they were single parent households, however, if ever a man was found in the house, they would instantly lose those benefits. That law was particularly enforced against black people, thus if you wanted the benefits, you voted Democrat, but enforcement of the law consisted of explicitly excluding black male presence in childrens’ life. Democrats had KKK senators until the 1990s, Biden famously eulogized a grand wizard and senator in the early 2000s.

Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood (which she called “the negro project”) explicitly founded the abortion industry to rid America of blacks; as she wrote in her autobiography she founded it for “the gradual suppression, elimination and eventual extinction, of defective stocks — those human weeds which threaten the blooming of the finest flowers of American civilization”

Those things are still being promoted to date, the BLM is explicitly calling for the removal of police from black neighborhoods, which has already increased the murder rate in some cities by over 100%, the number of unarmed black people being killed by police is in the single digits every year. The number of black people being killed by other black criminals is in the thousands every year. Hence promoting a police-less presence is promoting black murder. And as BREONNA TAYLOR’s mother said recently: BLM is profiting, taking millions of dollars on her name, they don’t even recognize her when she walks in the room, they haven’t given her or her community a dime, they are frauds. The leaders of Antifa and BLM are the ones who buy million-dollar mansions in gated communities instead of doing something to promote a better black community, promote fathers presence in children’s life, promote honest work over crime.

Wokism specifically is the left-wing religious belief system. The promotion of “systematic racism” and the cult-like following of people like Ibram X Kendi who promotes a system of black against white discrimination (or what he defines to be anti-racism) to fight what he believes to be a white supremacist system. They redefine words, such as the recent “black birthing person” instead of mothers. This redefinition of culture as they go along, is wokism. Where you can’t say he/she anymore but refer to anyone as them, where you have to put your preferred pronouns in every email or chatroom, where you push companies like Coca-Cola to put anti-white HR training.

Just because we left the JW does not mean we remain uneducated. Many of us are highly educated, I work in higher education, together with various top evolutionary neuroscientists, I even have my name on scientific papers and included with accolades on many dissertations. I am a social liberal and I do not support racism or classism, thus I cannot vote for Democrats, I vote with conservative Republicans although I do not support religion either, but at least Republicans know they cannot make a state religion, which is what Democrats are trying to do with wokism.

As said above, conservative Jews and Hindus are likewise highly educated so it’s not religion in and of itself that makes people poor or uneducated. Most highly successful people are conservative in politics as well, you have people like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos and most of the top 500 CEO, they may not outright be staunch Republicans but they’re libertarians, not at all in support of the socialist agenda. What makes people successful, and this is scientific research, is having 2 parents, not having a kid before you are married and not doing crime - and that is not political at all, or religious, even though the religious more often promote those ideals, but just those 3 elements is what predicts success 95% of the time, especially amongst minorities, but Democrats haven’t promoted that since at least the 1960s, because they are racists and want to keep people in the Democratic plantation.

A large portion of the masses aren’t far left or libertarians either, they’re somewhere in the middle, hence we have people voting for Trump one year and Biden the other. This is where the media comes in, they do have sufficient influence on the people in general. The average person thinks about politics on average 1 hour per week. And the rest of the time, whether Trump is getting peed on by hookers or whether Biden has dementia does not phase them one bit, they don’t care.

The thing they do care about is jobs, taxes and their kids, and on those spectrum, the left will get defeated once again in the near future. Hence why the left right now is going crazy to implement their agenda, they know it’s not palatable and they only have 2 years to do it.

Those laws are largely unconstitutional. You can’t make something a crime with reverse effects, like making a road 35 and then handing out tickets to everyone that has gone 55 through the area in the past 20 years.

in this case, what happened was illegal back then too, when these people became adults the clock started ticking. You can argue that 20 years is not enough, but even that expired. The reason limits exist is because it becomes increasingly harder to prove facts, find witnesses and even victims’ recollections get worse as time moves on, motivating victims to file their grievances early, thus the judicial system doesn’t get overloaded if suddenly something becomes well known.

As I said you can always sue someone in civil court, but you still will need some proof unless the other party outright admits what happened or settles.

Before the Romans, history wasn’t really written as a factual statement, the Greeks started with that style of history writing.

Ancient history was primarily oral and thus the underlying message was more important than the details. Hence you get epics and mythology, but most of the details are lost to history. What historians do is find the items in the stories that overlap, extract those and then compare with other records which were accurate (such as records on trades, census information etc) to get a roughly factual statement.

The problem is the Bible, until the New Testament has no archaeological evidence, the Jewish religion and Jews as an identity only proliferated about 1000 years before the Christians, so anything older is taken from prior tribes and civilizations and other religions (King David and the 12 tribes) and worked into a new jacket of a unifying monotheism. There is a line of truth in it (eg there were probably more than 12 tribes in the area and the “10 tribes” were unified from a selection of those but it is not factual history which you can take at face value, modern day you would call it alternative history or “based on a true story”.

@rocketman: there is a difference between what the science says and what the government says. The government should be able to give advice, and the people should be able to choose whether to follow that advice.

If you’re worried about dying, wear a mask, if the mask helps, you have nothing to be worried about. If the mask, as has been proven, does absolutely nothing, a mandate is not going to improve its effectiveness.

As we’ve seen time and again, the mandates had the counterproductive effect. Because people don’t trust government and government is always the worst option because government can’t respond quickly and has no notion of unintended consequences.

For example the lockdowns, by locking down in the middle of summer, people were forced to stay inside longer and thus the virus spread more effectively through central airconditioning. Same with the masks, by forcing everyone to mask, there weren’t enough masks, so people got alternatives, which not only were proven to be not effective, some options like the neckscarf which the CDC recommended, turned out to amplify the problem if someone did sneeze. Besides that it gave people a false sense of security even though 99% of people do not know how to properly don masks and thus you had people with masks under their nose so people felt safe whilst they weren’t and others such as nurses, who train for over a year on proper mask wearing, were forced to work with actually infected people without a mask spreading the virus faster, while 99.9% of the population was not infected improperly wearing a pointless mask when they were in contact with people that were neither infected nor capable of spreading the disease.

Government is almost never the solution to any problem.

one of them has gone from reading voraciously to only reading her textbooks and watchtower publications.

this does not seem to be unusual among witnesses.

It’s a bit of both. Some do well in reading etc, however there is also a tendency to only stay within the group and revere leaders so any errors that aren’t immediately corrected, which is unlikely if done by the leaders, are propagated through the group.

Think of it like a dialect, if you have a very small, isolated group, dialects form rather quickly, while large integrated societies tend to have the opposite, where common language happens and dialects die out.

Will You Get Back To Normal After Covid Subsides?

others say we should expect to live with masks and social distancing as the “new normal “.

still others are hopeful that we can live life realizing there might never be an end to covid or cancer or influenza but our lives must continue to go on.

@Brown: the same things happen when the left is in power, but the media refuses to cover it. Remember SARS, a variant of COVID-19, during the Obama admin? Thousands perished, it lasted 2 years and no vaccine, never heard anything about it in the media or how poorly it was handled. How about the terrorist attack in Benghazi? Or the Iranian Hostage Crisis?

Since Biden took office, the cost of basic resources like steel and wood went up 20% which will ripple through the economy. Enjoy your $2000, it will soon be eaten by the increased in basic costs like bread and housing. Conservative estimates have price hikes pegged at 30% as Biden has blown $10T in spending over budget on top of the $2T Trump spent last year (which resulted in the vaccine, Biden has nothing like it to show for it)

Derek Chauvin - The Right to a Fair Trial

anyone following the derek chauvin trial?.

if you are actually following it, not just listening to the media, you will likely realize that there is a huge gap between what is going on in court and what is being reported in the media.. if the trial was fair, i think he should be acquitted.

there is plenty of reasonable doubt about the cause of death (his dealer doesn't want to testify because he could be guilty of 3rd degree murder for selling him a fatal amount of fentanyl) and even doubt over whether the officer even had his knee on the guys neck or did anything counter to what they were meant to do as per policy.. but is it fair?

One of the jurors just came forward and gave an interview to the media. Turns out he is a BLM activist, wearing t-shirts to convict Chauvin. But he told the judge he knew nothing about the case.

For 1975, there are indeed statutes of limitations. Even the youngest would now be 48yo, 30 years past the time when the clock started ticking (when you become a legal adult or 18yo). That clock typically ranges from 4-10 years for that era unless you can make the claim you were continuously dependent for that time period.
That limit has since been lifted, but is not retroactive. Unless they did something that qualifies them for life in prison or the death penalty, you are probably out of time. This would also mean this person is now 65.
You should indeed contact an attorney to see about potential civil damages from the WTBTS and/or the offender but it will be an arduous process, things will have to be examined closely, expect old wounds that may have healed to be opened. You will also need some form of proof, with a bit of luck one of the younger elders may still be alive, but everyone else involved will have died. Whatever was on paper was probably lost or destroyed since.

Systemic racism is a circular faith-based argument. You MUST believe that you are a racist and atone for your racism or else you are a racist and should be shunned.

That is the argument they’re making, everything and everyone is racist and should join their religion. They are literally shunning their family members and friends and coworkers that do not agree.

They have a priest class of rich black wokesters that tell them everything they should do to grovel and pray. They have religious texts in the form of their anti-racist books and they have communion in the form of Twitter. They even have an end of times prophecy where the dates keep changing in the form of global cooling/warming that will destroy the earth.

It’s a Kafkaëske argument or witch trial where you can only be found guilty of witchcraft or get killed proving your innocence. And everything they don’t like is fitted with the white supremacy label, because if you look hard enough you can find fault in everyone’s history.

As some frequently say on here: it’s a cult.
